How are setters paid?+
Compensation is governed by a written appointment-setting agreement and is based on verified qualified appointments—not insurance sales. Rates, qualification standards, approval, and payment timing may vary by campaign.
How does the fee assistance work?+
Specific eligible startup or licensing-related fees may be deferred under the signed Earn While You Learn agreement and become due after campaign earnings begin. Covered costs, repayment timing, and participant responsibility must be reviewed in writing before enrollment.
Are the study sessions and exam guaranteed to result in a license?+
No. Study sessions are provided at no added program charge to support preparation, but exam passage and licensing are controlled by the exam provider and state regulator and are never guaranteed.
Will I automatically join VVS, HGI, or PHP?+
No. Empress Elite may coordinate alignment with an available participating agency, but each organization controls acceptance, contracting, background, licensing, and other requirements.
Can I keep setting appointments after I join an agency?+
Yes. Once you hold the required active license and receive agency, carrier, and contracting authorization, you can continue setting appointments using qualified leads provided by Empress Elite. At that stage, the appointments support your own business and client pipeline rather than another licensed professional’s book, subject to the applicable written agreements.
Do I have to become licensed?+
If you choose Earn While You Learn, yes: the pathway requires graduation after four weeks into an approved participating agency licensing track and proceeding to the applicable state exam. If you do not want to pursue licensing, choose the separate Ongoing Appointment Setter pathway.
Is income guaranteed?+
No. Results vary based on campaign availability, hours, skill, lead contactability, appointment quality, compliance, and acceptance of qualified appointments.
